Redwings Horse Sanctuary invited me along to their stand for three days. They sell my book A Standard Journey to raise funds to help rescue more horses. I was there to sign books and help sales along.

Three fun but exhausting days on the stand meant I could connect with many horsey folk - 60K pass through the doors throughout the week.

I was amazed at the size and variety of stalls - this one must be called heaven! Chocolate galore.

Even jewellery!

There were two great halls called the Retail Village.

The bookmarks and koalas went down well. A few people took some convincing that the book was true, and that I had written and experienced every word!
Look out for my books at Olympia, on the Redwings stand. I may attend the Windsor Show next spring. If so, I hope to see you there.

<![CDATA[Successful Appearance At Redwings Horse Sanctuary]]>Mon, 05 Oct 2015 12:24:19 GMThttp://helpinghandforhorses.weebly.com/blog---what-were-up-to/successful-appearance-at-redwings-horse-sanctuaryOn Sunday 4th October we visited the Redwings Horse Sanctuary
I read excerpts from A Standard Journey - 5 horses, 2 people, and 1 tent, and left the audience wanting more.

Noel regaled the audience with fun stories and we handed out gifts.

Books were sold, which will go a long way to help raise funds for the sanctuary.

If you are attending the Horse of The Year Show at Birmingham's NEC this week - why don't you pop along to say g'day?

I'll be there with gifts and fun stories on the 9th, 10th and 11th - hope to see you there.
